Ann E. Owens, 66, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Maureen Glynn Johnson; 2 brothers, Michael and Christopher Johnson; and her sister, Mary Stoughton. Ann Owens was the wife, mother, Nana and best friend everyone will remember lovingly!

Ann E. Owens, 66, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Maureen Glynn Johnson; 2 brothers, Michael and Christopher Johnson; and her sister, Mary Stoughton. Ann Owens was the wife, mother, Nana and best friend everyone will remember lovingly!



Mrs. Owens is survived by her loving husband of close to 50 years, James E. Owens, Sr.; 1 daughter, Torre Owens Hanvey; 3 sons, James Owens, Jr., Corey Owens, and Kevin Owens; 4 sisters, Debbie Johnson, Vivian Silvers, Julia Johnson, and Linda Norwood; 3 brothers, Noah Johnson, Danny Johnson, and Martin Johnson; 5 grandchildren, Mallory, Lindsey, Adler, Tyler, and Addison; and several nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.



Ann retired from the Department of Army (DA) at Redstone Arsenal after a 25 year career that included positions in Supply Management and Army Community Services (ACS) in the budgeting arena. She received several performance and cash awards while working as a Civil Servant. Ann was very creative and loved being involved with Stamper’s Corner, an online group that specialized in creating occasional and specialty cards. She loved spending time at her backyard pool with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nana”. Ann was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her!
