Rocco A. Tricoli, 83, passed away peacefully at South Hampton Nursing and Rehab on Thursday morning. Mr. Tricoli was preceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Gladys Migliore Tricoli, brothers Bart and Samuel, sisters, Carmel DeNicholas and Lena Garritano.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Sheri Wilkinson (Mike), granddaughter, Sarah Bolton (Brett), and grandson, Evan Wilkinson. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

“Rocky”, as most friends called him, loved life and family. He was a proud US Air Force veteran with over 20 years in his lengthy military career. Rocky was a pilot for American Airlines for 30 years and retired as a captain in 1993.

He spent his retirement years cruising all over the world with beloved friends and the love of his life, Sherlen Moore, who predeceased him in 2014. Rocky was also an avid fisherman and bird hunter.

Rocky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

The family is planning a private memorial service celebrating Mr. Tricoli’s life to be announced at a later date. The service will take place in Dallas-Ft. Worth, where he resided prior to relocating to Huntsville, Alabama in 2014.
